Key West (Stock Island Marina)

(25 Jan 2018) After Marathon our next destination was Key West. Some friends had told us of a nice marina called Stock Island that was a couple of miles north of Key West and we reserved a slip for a month. The Stock Island Marina and Key West were awesome. One week after arriving we decided we had to extend our stay to two months.

Stock Island was only a couple of miles from Key West and they had a shuttle bus that ran on the hour from the marina to a stop in the middle of Key West. Super convenient! Over the next two months we hit all the tourist attractions Key West had to offer.

The tour of Hemingway’s house (complete with cats) was cool. I didn’t think that there was much of a resemblance, but Jan had to have the picture.
